Chris Romanowski joins the Atlanta CV Administration Team as Assistant Director
Chris Romanowski joins the Atlanta CV Administration Team as Assistant Director and brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the Pageantry Arts. For over 25 years Chris has performed, taught, designed, written, and adjudicated at the highest levels of the activity. Since joining the Design Team as Percussion Caption Head and Arranger at Atlanta CV, the percussion section began its steady climb in the competitive ranks in DCA and has become a perennial powerhouse from the South as Atlanta CV has finished in the top three in the last three seasons in DCA. Chris has also spent the past 25 years as a self-employed entrepreneur.
“I am incredibly honored, and excited to get to work in this role with Atlanta CV and to help Atlanta CV continue its constant pursuit of excellence. I hope to help create a sustainable future, and a welcoming environment not only for our current members, but past and future members. DCA is such a great activity that has gone through some identity changes over the years as it has become younger in terms of its competitive membership. Because of this, I hope to help in any way that I can to get Atlanta CV and the DCA experience to be more widely known. Atlanta CV is a great opportunity for anyone who is looking to gain experience, or just has a love for drum corps that they need in their life, but on a weekend schedule. If you haven’t seen DCA, it is pretty incredible what groups can do on a weekend schedule, and I am sure all the groups are excited to get back to pushing the envelop of what’s possible.
I am fortunate to have so many great friends in the activity to draw from to help me as I begin this new role. I look forward to maintaining my creative role with Atlanta CV as I also join the Administration Team as Assistant Director. We have an incredibly talented staff in place that will help me balance my time in each area of our program. It is my hope that I can help Atlanta CV to continue to be a place that all of our current and past members can be proud of, and our future members can’t wait to call home”.
