Atlanta CV is excited to announce the design team for their 2020 season. Designers Jeff Sacktig, Jair Klarfeld and Matt Manturuk will be returning to join Co-Program Coordinators Alan Armstrong and Rodney Bailey, and caption heads Chris Romanowski (Percussion) and Chad Reynolds (Visual). New caption heads for this season include Mark Hoskins (Brass) and Cody Segers (Color Guard).  Program and Instructional Co-Coordinator Armstrong returns for his 13th season with the corps after serving in various Caption Head and Coordinator roles in the last decade, along with Rodney Bailey who will be returning for his 6th year, 3rd consecutive overall.  Jair Klarfeld will return for his 8th year as the brass arranger and Manturuk will reprise his role as Front Ensemble arranger for the 9th year.  Percussion Caption Head Chris Romanowski also serves as the Battery Percussion Arranger and returns for his 9th season.  Sacktig, a member of the DCI Hall of Fame and recent inductee into the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame will be returning for his fourth year as the corps Visual Designer in 2020 as well. Bailey will continue as Guard Caption Coordinator in addition to his new duties.

Visual Caption Head Chad Reynolds will return for his 9th year with the corps and 7th as the Caption Head. New Caption Heads this season include Mark Hoskins who will be the new Brass Caption Head and Cody Segers who is moving up from a senior instructor to Color Guard Caption Head.

Armstrong commented, “One of the things we’ve tried to establish is a consistency from year to year for our members.  The continuity with our design team and caption heads has helped us provide a stable foundation for growth and allowed us to compete at the very top-end of our circuit.  I’m thrilled to have Mark and Cody join us and have Rodney take on this new responsibility.  With Rodney in all reality, we are really only formalizing how he and I worked together last year.  We’ve been in constant contact since Championships and are both looking forward to piecing the program together with the incredibly talented caption heads and designers, we have the chance to work with here at CV”.  Bailey commented, “It has been such a humbling experience working with such talented and passionate individuals- both staff and members.”

Assistant Executive Director Marvin Fontaine stated “Our instructional team is already hard at work putting together the details for the 2020 season and we are looking forward to our design retreat coming up soon.  I can’t wait to see our returning members and those who want to join us at the Audition camps in November and December. It’s going to be another great season to be a part of Atlanta CV”.  Executive Director Dr. David W. Stollberg adds “it is great to have Rodney in the new role leading the creative staff with the rest of the team.  It’s also exciting to have Mark and Cody in new roles which fit well with the rest of the veteran team.”

Atlanta CV has been on the competitive rise in the last 6 years and hope to continue to thrill DCA audiences with another outstanding program in 2020.  Audition information will be available in the coming days and the corps is excited to get started on their 23rd season.
